Discover the acne causes

There are so many acne causes. Why we get pimples has been an age old question that each generation has suffered through. The major issue is not that it happens, but that for some pimples are more devastating than for others.

If you are suffering from outbreaks in acne, whether it is mild or severe, you will want to know why you are getting them and how to make them go away.

Noone wants to have facial blemishes that make your appearance marred and make you feel dirty. The faster you can get rid of and prevent pimples from invading your life, the better.

Excess Oils

One of the leading acne causes is excess oils. These oils are under the skin and begin to build up over the day or week. As they build up they collect dead skin cells and pool into your pores. This debris and oil clogs your hair follicle and pores and eventually causes acne to spring up. The best way to get rid of the excess oil on your face without stripping away essential oils is to wash once a day, preferably in the evening with a mild soap and warm water. This allows you to clean out all your pores and prevent them from getting clogged. This also exfoliates the dead skin from your face to keep flaking down to a minimum.

Diet

It is very true that we are what we eat. Acne causes have plenty to do with what you ingest daily. The types of foods we eat ultimately affect our entire body. Fatty foods are filled with oils that when ingested can get into our cells, including skin and hair cells.

These fatty oils then clog pores through not only ingestion, but also by touching them and then our faces. Keeping fatty food down to a minimum will help you to not get outbreaks as much as it reduces the oil content on your face. Sugary foods are also large acne causes.

Sugars change the hormone levels of our body through insulin use and production. Insulin then tells our body to do work and cause other processes to go on. The more you eat sugars and carbohydrates the crazier your hormones get and this is what causes outbreaks in pimples. It is best to keep refined sugars and carbohydrates to a minimum, especially if you are in the middle of an acne breakout.

Hormones

Hormones are major acne causes. One of the reasons that we see teenagers with the most recorded cases of pimple problems is that their hormones are ever changing, The result of these hormone fluctuation are the out breaks in acne that they get. For some teens puberty has little effect on the skin, while other teens suffer from severe enough acne to affect their lives.

How each child will respond to their new hormones and the fluctuations cannot be predetermined. There is no evidence that parents who suffered from moderate to severe acne will have children who suffer during puberty too. It is safe to say that prevention is the key when it comes to dealing with the onset of hormones and their affects.
